The process
- I hold fittings in my home studio
- You’ll need to contact me to book a consultation
- I’m located near the 101-202 interchange, near the borders of Scottsdale, Tempe, and Mesa
- Once you book I’ll provide you with further details
- I recommend reaching out at least 4-months before your wedding date for the initial consultation
- Bridal Alterations generally take three fittings to complete
- The first fitting should take place 8-10 weeks before your wedding date
- The fitting will last approximately one hour
- Please bring your wedding dress, wedding shoes, and any undergarments you plan to wear during the ceremony to every fitting
- Wedding shoes are especially important as they impact the fitting of the hem and bustle
- If you do not yet have the shoes you plan to wear at the wedding,I will be unable to work on the dress alterations until you do
- My home studio can comfortably accommodate 1-2 guests per bride
Alterations Pricing
- On average, standard bridal alterations cost between $500 - $800
- If you are requesting more custom alterations - such as changing necklines, detachable sleeves, jackets, adding slits, adding lining, and other dress design changes including resizing by more than one dress size - alterations would typically cost between $800 - $1,000+
- If you are on a tight budget or concerned about pricing, you are welcome to reach out and requisition complimentary email or phone consultation where I can provide you with a rough estimate. In-person consultations are preferred, and are available at $50 for a 30-minute appointment
- This fee is to cover time spent working with you for a more accurate quote
- If you move forward with alterations at Studio N Bride, the $50 fee will be put towards your alterations costs
- After the initial consultation, I will write a detailed invoice that we will review together
- We will then finalize an alterations contract, and then finalize payment
- Payment in full up-front is required for any work that we plan on doing to your dress
- Studio N Bride currently accepts Cash, Zelle, Venmo, and Paypal
